Four Filter LayersThe non-woven fabric and sponge trap, among other things, fur and larger particles that could enter the water circulation. The ion-exchange resin helps reduce heavy metal content and softens the water, while the activated carbon absorbs unpleasant odors and some impurities. The combination of these materials allows for multi-stage water filtration, ensuring more effective performance than a single filter layer.
Regular Replacement and Simple PreparationTo maintain proper filtration, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter cartridge approximately every 2–4 weeks, depending on the fountain’s usage and water quality. Before first use, soak the filter in water for about 5 minutes, then rinse it under running water for about 30 seconds. The filter element measures approximately 88 × 40 × 23 mm, making it compatible with the Rojeco SSPWF-310B fountain.
