Neewer Retro Flash
Neewer Retro FlashThe Neewer Z160 is a compact flash designed for photographers looking for a portable and easy-to-use light source. Its retro design combined with a modern LCD display makes the model look great on both classic and modern cameras. Weighing less than 160 g, the flash doesn’t weigh down the camera during longer shoots and fits easily into a small bag or pocket, which is especially useful for street photography or travel.
Stable light for everyday photographyThe flash offers a 22Ws flash power and a guide number (GN) of 14 at ISO 100, making it well-suited for portraits, product photography, and indoor shots. A constant color temperature of 6000K ±200K helps preserve natural colors in photos, and the included diffuser allows for softer light. An additional 6500K modeling light makes it easy to assess the direction of light before taking a photo.
Intuitive operation and various shooting modesThe Neewer Z160 is equipped with a clear LCD screen and a control dial, making it quick and convenient to adjust settings. The flash supports both automatic and manual modes, and power adjustment from 1/128 to 1/1 allows you to easily adjust the flash intensity to suit your shooting conditions. The available S1 and S2 modes also enable optical triggering of the flash, giving you greater freedom when working off-camera.
Fast charging and a high-capacity batteryThe built-in 7.2V 1100mAh lithium battery provides up to 650 full-power flashes, making the flash ideal for longer sessions without the need for frequent recharging. A recycling time of approximately 1.5 seconds allows for comfortable continuous shooting at up to 8 FPS. Charging via the modern USB-C port takes about 1.5 hours, making it easy to use the flash even while traveling.
Compatibility with Popular CamerasThe Z160 model uses a standard hot shoe, making it compatible with many cameras from brands such as Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus, Panasonic, and Sony. The flash performs well in wedding photography, street photography, small studio work, and still life photography. It’s worth noting that this model does not support TTL or HSS technology, so the best results are achieved with manual camera settings and a shutter speed of up to 1/200 s.
