FOSSIBOT FAC580 580W DC-DC ChargerThe FOSSIBOT FAC580 is a DC-DC car charger with a maximum output power of 580 W, which allows for rapid recharging of a portable power station while driving. Compared to a standard 96 W cigarette lighter socket, it can charge up to 6 times faster, and its conversion efficiency reaches 92%. The device is compatible with all FOSSiBOT power stations and 99% of models from other brands, making it ideal for use in cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, RVs, utility vehicles, trucks, or yachts.
Two operating modes tailored to the situationThe FAC580 automatically adjusts the output power to the input voltage, helping to efficiently utilize energy from the vehicle’s electrical system. In Mode 1, designed for charging while driving, at voltages between 13.2–14 V, the output power is a maximum of 300 W; above 14 V, it automatically increases to 580 W; and below 13.2 V, charging is interrupted. Mode 2 is designed for emergency situations when the engine is off—it provides up to 300 W at a voltage of 12–12.75 V and up to 580 W above 12.75 V, whereas if the voltage drops below 12 V, the device automatically cuts off the power to protect the car’s battery from over-discharge.
Stable Charging and Multi-Level ProtectionThe professional cooling system uses a fan on the left side and a ventilation opening on the right, which helps maintain stable operation and charging power. The FAC580 also offers multi-level protection, including protection against overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, reverse connection, and excessive or insufficient temperature. The system simultaneously protects the vehicle’s battery, the charger itself, and the connected power station, which enhances safety during long trips and intensive use.
