The device connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and allows for remote management via the app, giving you full control over growing conditions at all times. With IPX5 water resistance and a range of up to 60 m (depending on obstacles), the sensor is ideal for both gardens and potted plants.

Thanks to the dedicated app, you can check the most important soil and environmental parameters in real time—without leaving your home. The device’s screen displays current values for humidity, temperature, and light intensity, and you also have access to measurement history from the last 24 hours and up to 10 days. This allows you to better understand your plants’ needs and make informed decisions regarding watering or light exposure.

Accurate measurements tailored to soil type

The sensor allows you to select the soil type in the app, which affects the accuracy of moisture readings. You can adjust the settings to specific conditions—whether you’re using garden soil, potting mix, or other substrates. This solution provides more reliable data and helps you care for your plants more effectively.

Thoughtful design and easy installation

The ergonomic design, measuring 222 × 69 × 72 mm, allows for convenient placement of the sensor in both pots and the ground. Simply place the probe in the soil (up to the MAX mark) to begin measurements. The device is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included), and an intuitive button allows for quick startup and configuration.

Weather resistance

The RainPoint HCS021FRF is designed for outdoor use, so it easily handles moisture and splashes thanks to its IPX5 rating. A built-in light sensor located at the top of the device monitors light intensity, allowing for even better control of plant growth conditions—both in the garden and on the balcony.
