The meter is distinguished by its simplicity of operation and easy-to-read backlit screen.
Wide measurement rangeThe UT383 can measure light intensity from 0 to 199,900 Lux or 0 to 18,500 Fc. Automatic resolution changes are available for different brightness levels - from 1 Lux to 100 Lux and from 1 Fc to 10 Fc, depending on the range. Measurement accuracy reaches ±(4% + 8) at lower values and ±(5% + 10) at higher values, allowing accurate control of lighting conditions in working, public and private spaces.
Efficient operationThe sampling time is just 0.5 seconds, so you get up-to-date data almost instantly. MAX/MIN functions allow you to track extreme values, and the Data Hold option lets you keep the current result on the screen. Additional conveniences include automatic shutdown after a period of inactivity, an overload (OL) alarm and a low battery indicator.
Clear display and lightweight designThe meter features a 32 × 26 mm backlit LCD screen that provides good readability even in low ambient light. The whole unit weighs just 118 g. Thanks to its compact size (160 × 50 × 28 mm), the UT383 can be conveniently carried in a pocket, bag or tool case.
