THE RECESSED SPEAKERS SET NEW STANDARDS IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND SOUND

All woofers feature cones made from a weave of carbon and glass-fibre strands. This mix of materials delivers extreme stability and long-term quality and is otherwise only used to manufacture bulletproof vests. The result is a very clear and dynamic sound. 

CUSTOM ROOM CALIBRATION IS NO PROBLEM

The tweeter used for the in-wall models is a large-format 25 mm textile dome, which has been fitted into the front so that it may be adjusted horizontally and vertically. Which means that the emitted sound may be perfected to suit even very different room conditions. The in-ceiling loudspeakers possess two built-in coaxial tweeters. Two circuit versions are possible – sound directed over a wide area or at specific points.

EASY-FIT INSTALLATION

Installation in walls or ceilings has been greatly simplified with the help of a very sophisticated fastening system. To prevent any contact faults after years of use, the cables are held in a solid, gold-platted screw terminal.

One of the most important components in a loudspeaker is the frequency crossover. It divides the incoming signals among the subwoofer, woofer and tweeter and linearises their reproduction. At the same time, it is designed to operate in as loss-free a manner as possible and should not add any distortions to the music. This means that it is essentially responsible for the sound and resilience of the sound transducer. The frequency crossovers in Magnat´s loudspeakers rely on APOC (Amplitude and Phase Optimized Crossover) technology. This ensures, with perfectly clean and symmetrical transitions between the individual paths with regard to amplitude and phase, that the reproduction from the loudspeakers is totally free of discoloration and perfectly timed.

Magnat wall and ceiling loudspeakers are equipped with our special "Easy Fit“ installation system. Thanks to this well thought-out clamping mechanism, fitting can be done by one person and in any material with very little effort. After fitting, a flat designer protective grille ensures a clean, attractive look.

An extremely resilient combination of carbon and Kevlar fibres is used in this loudspeaker chassis. In addition to great strength and absolute resistance to environmental influences, the extremely tear-proof blend of materials also displays exceptionally high long-term stability. With the Carbon Kevlar Cone, Magnat´s loudspeakers therefore ensure dynamic and highly detailed reproduction at all times. In this way, you are guaranteed optimum sound results and a loudspeaker that will show virtually no signs of ageing.

The Multi-Directivity Tweeter can be swivelled on multiple axes in its enclosure to allow it to be optimally aligned to the listening position. This is particularly important for built-in speakers as the loudspeaker enclosure cannot be aligned accordingly as is otherwise normal. Particularly in the treble range, however, the human ear has the ability to determine the direction of a sound source very precisely. With the Multi-Directivity Tweeter, we also guarantee maximum audio quality for our in-wall speakers.
