Wide range of scanned objectsThe MetroY scanner can perfectly handle objects of various sizes - from small technical components (from 10 mm) to items as large as 1 m. This allows you to efficiently perform scans of both precise small parts and more complex structures without having to change the device. Such versatility allows you to use the product in a variety of design and manufacturing processes, both in smaller studios and large industrial plants.
Several scanning modes to choose fromThe MetroY uses a set of 30 blue laser cross lines, 15 parallel lines and one single line, enabling accurate scanning of a wide variety of objects. There are also several modes to choose from. Cross-Lines makes it easy to capture shiny and dark materials, Parallel-Lines works well for fine and complex details, and Single-Line allows you to accurately capture the geometry of deep holes, channels and hard-to-reach areas using markers.
High precision and mapping stabilityThe device provides a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m), which guarantees data consistency throughout the model - even when working with larger parts. This is very important in engineering, where the scanner is used for dimensional inspection, component matching or shape verification.
Fast data acquisitionScanning speeds of up to 1,500,000 points per second reduce the preparation time of 3D models, which is especially important when there are a large number of scans or the process needs to be repeated frequently. The multi-line laser works stably and efficiently, facilitating work in areas that require fast data acquisition without compromising on quality.
Spray-free operation on selected surfacesMetroY makes it possible to scan many dark and glossy surfaces without first using spray. In many cases, this reduces set-up time and simplifies the entire process. In more challenging situations, such as with transparent, highly reflective or metallic surfaces, you can apply the spray as instructed to achieve optimal results.
Convenient connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and USB-CMetroY can operate wired or wirelessly. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity allows you to quickly transfer data to your computer or mobile device, giving you full freedom of movement while scanning. The USB-C port, on the other hand, provides a stable and fast connection - proving useful, for example, in a lab environment or for long scanning sessions.
Ergonomic design and low weightThe Metro scanner weighs only about 447 g, so you can use it comfortably for long periods of time - without feeling tired. The ergonomic handle allows you to confidently guide the device along edges and complex surfaces, and a set of four buttons allows you to operate it intuitively.
A complete set ready for actionThe kit includes not only the scanner, but also a USB-C to USB-C cable, power adapter, calibration board, carrying case and 200 markers. This makes the device ready to use right out of the box, with no need to purchase additional items. In addition, the MetroY model is compatible with the Marker Block Kit and Mobile Kit (3rd generation), which expands its application possibilities.
Advanced Revo Metro softwareRevo Metro software enables processing of scan data and preparation of models for further work. It supports export in PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF and FBX formats for seamless integration into popular applications. Compatibility with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS gives users the flexibility to work on their preferred platform.
