Wired and wireless modesThe K5 keyboard has both wired and 2.4G wireless modes. In wireless mode, the battery provides a battery life of about 60 hours with the light on and as much as 300 hours with the light off. Pairing in 2.4G mode involves inserting the receiver and pressing FN+P to start the code pairing procedure. The keypad automatically enters sleep mode after 1-2 minutes of inactivity in 2.4G mode and can be awakened by pressing any key. In wired mode, the keyboard automatically switches to wired mode when the cable is connected to the computer.
Lighting and multimedia controlThe keyboard offers support for 18 lighting effects, the ability to change colors and dynamically change the lighting direction.
